Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to be an engineering major?

No! We welcome all majors, degree paths, and interest levels. We will teach you everything you need to know.

Do I have to have previous experience?

No! Many of our members come in with prior robotics or rocketry experience, but it is absolutely not required.

What type of expereinces or opportunities are available?

Our club has something for everyone. We participate in two main competitions, one solid-propelled and one liquid-propelled, with multiple different subteams/interest areas available. We also have multiple other projects and research opportunities in various areas.

What are the easiest ways to get involved?

Feel free to show up for our general meetings on Tuesday nights at 6 pm in Leonard Hall, room 109, for club updates. You can also reach out to us at the email address listed above or follow any of our social media accounts.

How much work would I have to put in?

You will get out what you put in, so the more work you choose to do, the more experience you will get. While we do expect a certain level of participation from our members, we understand everyone has other commitments and things going on in their lives.

If I come to a meeting am I required to join

Absolutely not! While we would love to have you join, we understand that this club isn't for everyone, and are more than ok with you showing up just to try it out.
